In-Depth Review: Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance: Mark of Mastery Edition

Note: This is a review for the edition’s extra contents and not the game itself.

After what seems like a long collector’s edition dry spell, a new collector aimed edition has been released for the latest Kingdom Hearts title. In all honesty, I wasn’t going to review this set. I wasn’t even going to purchase it. However, after seeing prices on Amazon and Ebay skyrocketing for this modestly priced edition, I felt it necessary to type out an objective opinion for those considering spending an obscene amount of money to purchase the Mark of Mastery Edition from secondary sellers.

What’s Included:

1) Display box

2) Kingdom Hearts 3D Dream Drop Distance

3) 5 AR cards

4) 12 Art Cards

5) Kingdom Hearts Protector Case for 3DS

NECA Limited Edition Portal Gun: In-Depth Review (w/ Pics)

NECA Limited Edition Portal Gun

Disclaimer: Many of my reviews end with me stating that perceived quality has much to do with how much a fan someone is of a particular product. As such, I feel that I should note that I am not a very big fan of Portal. This replica was a birthday gift for my girlfriend (she’s the huge fan) and because of my relative lack of fandom for the series, my review may seem a bit harsher than what a fan would say of the same product. And without further ado…

Street Fighter Cross Tekken: Limited Edition - Not an In Depth Review

Street Fighter Cross Tekken: Limited Edition

Note: This was never going to be a review of the game itself. This was going to be a review of the Contents of the new Street Fighter X Tekken Limited Edition. In the end, it is neither.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend Limited Edition: Review with Pics

BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend Limited Edition (PS3):

What you see is what you get.

Note: This is not a review of the game itself. It is a review of the Limited Edtion contents.

I’ve been a fan of Arc System Works’ games since I played the original Guilty Gear on the PSOne. Since then, they’ve consistently made some really great fighting games (with the exception of the malformed terror that was Guitly Gear Isuka). I was more than willing to spend the extra 20 dollars that was being asked to both purchase and review their upcoming limited edition. Thankfully, though, Amazon sort of goofed and had the limited edition on sale for the regular 40 dollar asking price. Though Amazon more than made me suffer for the discount (more on that later), I am very happy that I ordered from them because I think I would feel very very ripped off right now if I hadn’t gotten this limited edition as a free upgrade.

In-Depth Review: Soul Calibur V - Collector's Edition

Soul Calibur V: Collector’s Edition

Note: This review is for the Collector’s Edition contents of Soul Calibur V and NOT the game itself.

Another year, another chance for game makers to entice us with the promise of things we want but do not need (for a small fee, of course). Having been a fan of the Soul series since part 2, I was more than happy to pick up this new set and review it for you guys. This particular Collector’s Edition is for the PS3 and was purchased at Best Buy. As such, there are certain inclusions that are specific to both those choices. I will note the differences where necessary.

What’s Included:

1) Book-Style Display Box

2) Soul Calibur V

3) Hardcover Artbook

4) Soundtrack

5) Making of Blu-ray (PS3 only, 360 includes DVD)

6) White Knight & Dark Knight DLC

7) Dampierre DLC (Best Buy Exclusive)
